Guns N Roses visit The Witchwood School of Rock
On 12th October 2010 everyone associated with WSOR were lucky enough to have two members of rock legends Guns N Roses spend a day with us at Fat Lil's music club in Witney. Lead Guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal and drummer Frank Ferrer took a break from their world tour to spend the day jamming, teaching, chatting about their experiences in GnR and posing for many photos! It was a day nobody in attendence will forget! We were blown away by Ron & Frank as they gave the kids the most amazing rock experience and they were two of the nicest guys you will wish to meet! A huge thanks must go to them both as well as Fat Lils for hosting the day, Nathan Shayler for picking Ron & Frank up from London and delivering them back to management safely, Rik Mellis from Twitney for the amazing documentary, Chris Hill for his brilliant photography and the BBC for giving us so much coverage of the event!
