Witchwood School of Rock - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Kbds, Vocals, Live, Recording, Video
Lee Wyatt-Buchan - Tutor/Founder

Lee learnt the guitar in his teens playing both guitar and bass guitar in bands during the mid and late 90's. He has 15 years experience of playing, performing and writing music. His real passion is songwriting having written many songs including a recorded album mainly specialising in song structure and lyric writing. Lee has performed at many venues having been part of the Oxford, London and Birmingham gig circuit during the 1990s and early 2000's.

'I wish something like the school of rock was around when I was a youngster. To learn key areas of music such as song structure and how to make a song catchy would have been great. Our guys attending the rock school are already learning more than I did by the time I was 20! The first time I went into a recording studio was when I was 21 years old, some of our guys are 6 years old and have already recorded their first song... amazing!'

Lee's favourite genre of music is punkgrungebluesgothrock with a hint of folk.

Aldie Chalmers - Tutor
 (Volunteer )

Favourite music: Improvised Jazz/rock & funk fusion.
Aldie has played guitar for 35 years and his passion hasn't diminished in all that time, in fact it's increasing. If he had his way, everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, would play a musical instrument and express themselves daily through the deep joy of playing music.

Aldie's mantra is 'Keep perfecting your technique, it will free your soul to fly'.
